Out of our keenness in ODEL to empower and prepare young individuals for the labor market, and develop their practical and professional skills and capabilities, and as part of our belief of the importance of practical training and to engage those who are in their final academic year or recent graduates in a rich and diverse work experience, we planned the training program to prepare students for post-academic life, to explore their capabilities and interests and simulate work nature and future professional life
You will be involved in projects we execute for our clients, expected to undertake specific tasks with support and guidance from staff of consultants, experts, and analysts in our teamwork.
You will gain insights regarding the field of providing professional and consulting services, explore the operations and everyday life of our exceptional team, and experience the work culture within ODEL environment.
Throughout the training program, a mentor and personal guide will be assigned to oversee your training program and provide support, guidance, and direction. Additionally, there will be monitoring and following up on progress in foundational courses and training programs in the consulting field. As part of your training program, you are expected to complete a set of additional internship courses to develop soft and technical skills.

My training experience with ODEL has been one of the most significant and influential experiences in my life. I joined the training program at the beginning of 2022, uncertain about the specific field that would suit me within the vast scope of computer science specialties. Over time, working in this incredible field and facing different challenges every day, I found myself increasingly drawn to the realm of management consulting. Quickly, I began to appreciate the importance and enjoyment this field.
The training commenced with my participation in an existing project focused on building and defining the service structure, client tree, and governance framework for a government entity. The project provided me with influential lessons and prosperous experiences, and it was the key to getting used to the nature of the career path. Then, I moved on to another project, which focused on improving customer journeys and experiences and designing and implementing a group of related initiatives. This experience was comprehensive and varied, allowing me to explore different work phases in several projects and the nature of activities carried out in each phase. I contributed and learned how to prepare benchmark studies, comparisons, mechanisms for documenting and understanding the current situation, tools and methodologies for problem-solving, the process of designing solutions and recommendations, and the preparation of a roadmap for them. The experience of this project was entirely different and full of various tasks.
Throughout my training period, I acquired a broad range of practical and soft skills that I never thought I could gain in just six months. For example, but not limited to, I developed my technical and analytical skills and enhanced my ability to interact with clients and the public to the point where my that exceeded my expectations and I believe that this occurred because I never felt like a trainee in ODEL.
One of the most notable observations during my training period was the constant commitment to empowering trainees, transferring knowledge to them, and enhancing responsibility and reliability within the work team, where I noticed that everyone was eager to assist and support me in learning and developing. This created a sense of being part of a family more than just colleagues. Undoubtedly, the great environment is one of the most important factors that helped elevate my enthusiasm and dedication, and to provide the most possible change to this system.
In conclusion, I am extremely proud of the experience I went through in ODEL. I am proud of the knowledge, skills, and experiences I gained, the projects I worked on, and the team I was a part of. I am grateful for the opportunities I had and the challenges I faced.
In the advanced phases of my academic life, my passion for work management started to grow and increase, and I was looking for an internship opportunity with an organization specialist in this field. I was keen for the internship to be diverse and rich in experiences related to work process management, and for the experience to contribute to qualifying me for the labor market. When I started to search for such an organization in late 2020, I had the opportunity to join ODEL’s training program.
During the first weeks of the program, I began to understand the nature of the work, tasks, and required skills and completed a number of training courses. As soon as I completed the required preparation and foundation period, I joined an existing project, and quickly, I commenced the execution of specific and intricate tasks involving the documentation and analysis of data and information, as well as attending meetings with clients and stakeholders. Whereas, I periodically used to, after completing any task or milestone during the project, hold sessions and meetings with my training mentors or project manager intended to highlight the improvement opportunities for me and how to accomplish tasks more efficiently and effectively. After three months, a personal development plan was designed, and I joined another project with a different government entity. The nature of the new project differed from the previous one in terms of scope, tasks, and expectations.
Where I worked within the business analysis team on building Business Requirements Documents (BRD), and carried out the required tasks at the level of data and information analysis, or facilitation of meetings and workshops.
I am grateful for this experience as I gained a lot of knowledge related to work process management and business analysis. I developed numerous soft skills related to data and information documentation, presentation design, data and information modeling, research, and learning. The weekly meetings to review my performance and enrich my training experience were one of the most important factors that achieved my development.
The motivating and supportive environment played a key role in empowering me during the program. I felt significant interest from all work team members and support from all in performing tasks, and I never felt like just a trainee. My view was a focus of attention in internal work team meetings. I enjoyed the experience in all aspects, from the nature of the executed tasks to the work environment and the work team.
In conclusion, my internship experience achieved what I was looking for and more. The experience was and will remain rich, diverse, and enjoyable on both the personal and professional levels, and fulfilled its primary goal.
I joined ODEL in early 2019, and today I am completing my fourth year, encompassing both internship and official employment in ODEL. Throughout these years, I have undergone numerous experiences and success stories that have contributed to building and establishing my professional path, and laying the foundation for it.
During my work at ODEL, I have had the opportunity to engage in a wide range of projects, initiatives, and studies in diverse fields. Some are related to organizational and operational excellence, while others focus on improving customer experiences. I contributed to modeling and improving services for government entities with a high and direct impact on citizens and residents in the Kingdom. I worked with ODEL’s team on restructuring the work processes of these entities and designing mechanisms and frameworks for governance and framing of services. We also contributed, through other projects, to establishing and operating Tamayuz labs and business management offices, including those related to client experience management, where I worked on activating a client experience system, enhancing and designing rides, and building and defining personalities and client tree. Additionally, I worked with the work team on creating a unified national platform for a system involving more than twenty government entities. This included designing technological systems to support business owners in managing and operating their businesses.
During my work on these projects, I faced numerous experiences and challenges that contributed to my professional advancement, enhancing my personal and professional skills and abilities, and strengthening my communication, presentation and management of meetings and workshops skills, as well as the ability to planning and executing works and tasks efficiently and effectively, that also foster innovation and creativity in finding solutions for clients.
In my belief, what contributed to writing this brief resume is the working environment in ODEL, where I found all the support and guidance possible from all company staff. I also was perfectly enabled to learn and acquire the necessary skills and experiences to provide distinct value to the company’s clients, and to share it with the outstanding team and the supportive and wonderful leadership.
I am proud of my work within a team I consider among the best competencies in the Kingdom. I am proud to add and provide value to the country through the projects I participated in with government entities. I am proud of the excellent reputation of the company I work for.
